A few of our products made in Bali By implementing ago-old artisanship techniques and empowering talented craftsmen, each bag is so much more than something to carry you from work to weekend. With a story behind each bag, each label is proudly hand signed by the person that made it, and each purchase contributes to 5 square metres of holistic land restoration to protect wildlife populations and provide subsistence to local communities.

- Handcut
Since the founding of Duffle&Co in 2015, we have collaborated closely with Sundari and her team of skilled craftsmen in our female-run workshop. The production process begins with careful and tactical pattern cutting, designed to minimize leather waste from each hide. Any leftover scraps generated during this cutting phase are thoughtfully saved and repurposed to create our smaller accessory pieces, ensuring sustainable and efficient use of materials.
- Hand Stitched
Each bag is carefully hand-stitched to ensure high-quality craftsmanship. The interior is then lined with a durable canvas or GOTS certified organic cotton fabric, showcasing a unique print inspired by the topography of New Zealand, adding both style and sustainability to the product.
- Journey to you via Kāpiti
After the production of your bags is complete, they are carefully packed and collected by a courier service. The bags are then transported by plane with DHL Go Green, which is a service that utilises Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Upon arrival, they are delivered to our base on the Kāpiti Coast in Wellington via a DHL electric vehicle. Finally, your bags are sent out to you using recycled, compostable mailers.
